The term rebuilt can have different meanings from shop to shop. For example, whether your rebuilt 4R100 transmission will have all of the OE manufacturer updates and upgrades to increase its strength and longevity will vary from shop to shop. A standard rebuild consists of only replacing items that are completely worn out. Items that are marginally still good go back into a rebuilt transmission the way they came out. A Heavy Duty Shift kit is installed to reduce slippage and increase durability. (Shift firmness remains factory)
An Upgraded locking snap ring for the coast clutch and spiral-lock snap ring for 4th clutch address OE design flaws and eliminate premature failures.
A One-Piece rear case bushing improves internal fluid flow and lubrication.
The center support is machined and modified to accept a snap ring. This prevents the center support bolts from walking out. (A very common problem)
A New pressure regulator and boost valve system eliminate delayed engagements, soft shifting and shudder.
An upgraded long-spline center shaft drum is installed on all diesel and V10 units.
A Heavy Duty Triple-Disk, Billet Cover Torque Converter is provided with all diesel & v10 units. The converter is tested for leaks, lock-up concentricity and balance. Upgrades Exceed OE requirements and eliminate the possibilities of front seal leaks, premature bushing wear, and vibration.
All New bushings are installed in key locations to improve internal fluid flow control and pressures.
The fluid pump rotor and pump body mating surfaces are resurfaced and new line bore bushings are installed to maintain correct fluid pressures.
All machined surfaces and bushings are polished to a mirror-like OE finish of 15RA or better.
A Tru-Flat stator qualification and machining process is utilized to meet or often exceed factory specification. Ensuring like-new or better performance from your transmission.

Q. Can the transmission be sent to my home?
A. Yes, it can. Residential (limited access/lift-gate) deliveries are $75 total, for the delivery of the new transmission and return of the old core.
Q. How do I return the core?
A. Simply place your old core in the container the new transmission came in and submit your core return request online using the core return tab above.

Q. Can I install it myself?
A. Yes, Self-installation does not void your warranty.
Q. Does my old transmission core need to be out when the new transmission is delivered?
A. No, you have 14 days from the date of delivery to schedule your core return. Need more time? No problem, just let us know.
Q. How is the transmission shipped?
A. Transmissions are shipped via truck freight (18-Wheeler) through FedEx Freight or R&L Carriers. Depending on your location another carrier may be chosen to better service your area.
Q. How is the transmission packaged?
A. Your order will arrive securely strapped inside a sealed high strength polyethylene (plastic) container.
Q. How do residential deliveries work?
A. For residential deliveries, the carrier must transfer your transmission onto a smaller truck for delivery. The carrier will then call you directly to schedule an appointment for delivery. Because of the extra steps involved residential deliveries are $75 extra.
Q. What else will I need for install?
A. Depending on your transmission type some external components may need to be transferred over from your original transmission. For example, the neutral safety switch, speed sensor, tailhousing etc.
Q. Does the transmission come with fluid? What ATF fluid will I need?
A. Your transmission will arrive with approximately 1-3 quarts of full synthetic ATF in it from testing. The torque converter is already primed with fluid and does not need to be removed. You will have to top the transmission off with fluid before operating. We recommend using our full synthetic ATF or any popular brand full synthetic ATF.
